SCHOOL OF HOPE: AFTER SCHOOL LITERACY PROGRAM
This afterschool program focuses on literacy strategies, independent reading and coaching, writing and research. Students are referred by their teachers and then tested by SOH staff. A certified teacher, assistant teacher, and volunteers provide comprehensive support to 2nd and 3rd graders who are at least one grade behind in their reading. Participants are expected to attend every day of Schools of Hope for the duration of the program and enrollment is closed once our classroom limit is reached.
